Total Immersion Software is the creator of RealWorld, the revolutionary PC-based platform that enables non-programmers to rapidly build 2D/3D, geo-specific simulations. Our tools are especially valuable for time-critical applications where lives are on the line – first responders, counter-terrorism professionals, war-fighters, healthcare workers, the intelligence community, and security forces. The Austin Studio of Total Immersion Software (TIS) was founded early in 2007 to spearhead the development of the RealWorld technology platform for the Defense advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
While other companies are working safely within the realms of fantasy, we are working deeply within the cutting edge, real world experiences that have inspired games like Splinter Cell and Call of Duty. We capture the best aspects of game development without falling victim to the non-stop crushing deadlines one finds in traditional gaming companies. We are well-funded, offer Fortune-500 caliber benefits, and value and encourage creativity, innovation and collaboration, while empowering our people to strongly influence the company’s destiny, as well as their own.
“Management has focused on an even work-life balance. Management maintains an open door policy, with a willingness to listen to and respond to any and all employees ideas/opinions. ”
“It is everything I ever wanted in a career. All the technology and subject matter we deal with are the same subjects as those of my personal hobbies.”
“The quality of life at this organization is better than most companies. This organization considers the employees' well being a high priority.”
“I'm very interested in the work. I enjoy the projects we are working on. And, I feel that I have a stake in the company's future.”
